Dr. George Rix is a valued optometrist at Chittick Eye Care.

Dr. Rix, a native of Seneca, Illinois, graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2010 with a degree in Biological Studies. In 2014, he attained his O.D. from Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Rix has belonged to the Illinois and American Optometric Association for a decade. He is extremely interested in ocular surface disease and multifocal contact lenses. When not at work, Dr. Rix enjoys the company of his wife, Sarah, and their dog, Tilda, a toy fox-terrier mix. Dr. Rix’s hobbies include woodworking, 3D printing, reading, and video games.
